These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to the text messaging program operated by the Law Office of Aron David Garza, PLLC ("the Firm," "we," "us"). By providing your mobile number and consenting as described below, you agree to these terms.
1. Program description
The Firm sends automated SMS court-date reminders to active clients only. These are transactional, account-related notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
2. How you consent (opt-in)
Online opt-in. Clients can opt in on our online sign-up form at www.adgarzalaw.com/sms-opt-in, where they enter their name and mobile number and check a consent box (unchecked by default) to agree to receive the messages described here.
Written opt-in. Clients also opt in when they retain the Firm, by signing the Firm's Contract of Employment (engagement agreement), which collects the client's mobile number and includes the following disclosure:
"BY PROVIDING YOUR MOBILE NUMBER, YOU AGREE TO RECEIVE COURT DATE REMINDER TEXT MESSAGES FROM THE LAW OFFICE OF ARON DAVID GARZA PLLC. MESSAGE FREQUENCY VARIES, UP TO 4 MESSAGES PER SCHEDULED COURT DATE. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. REPLY "STOP" TO OPT OUT AT ANY TIME. REPLY "HELP" FOR HELP."
Providing consent to receive text messages is not a condition of legal representation or of any purchase.
3. Types of messages
Court-date and hearing reminders related to your active case (for example, the date, time, and location of an upcoming court appearance).
4. Message frequency
Up to four (4) messages per scheduled court date, sent approximately 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before a hearing. Frequency may vary based on your case activity.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. The Firm does not charge you for these messages.
6. Opt out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number that sent the message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will not receive any further SMS reminders. You may also opt out by calling (956) 626-2306.
7. Help (HELP)

8. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
